The short version
- Write to evankorial7@gmail.com. It reaches one person.
- You will have a reply within one business day. Not a ticket number — an answer, or an honest estimate of when there will be one.
- You do not need an account, a trial or a purchase to write. Pre-sales questions get the same reply as paying ones.
1. Who you are writing to
EzyCrm is built and run by Evan Korial, in Saskatchewan, Canada. It is a small operation — small enough that the person who answers your email is the person who writes the code. That has an obvious downside and a less obvious upside, and both are worth saying out loud.
The downside is that there is no overnight support desk and no account manager. The upside is that a bug you report on Tuesday is understood by the person who can fix it, without passing through anyone, and the answer to "can it do X" is never a guess.
2. How to reach us
| What you need | Where to send it | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| A question before you buy — will it do this, will it import that | evankorial7@gmail.com | One business day. Ask the awkward version of the question; a straight answer costs us nothing and saves you a migration. |
| Something is broken | evankorial7@gmail.com | Same day where possible. Tell us what you were doing and what you expected instead — screenshots help more than descriptions. |
| Help moving your data across | evankorial7@gmail.com | Send the export file. We will tell you what will and will not survive the trip before you commit to anything. |
| A privacy request — access, correction, deletion, portability | evankorial7@gmail.com | Within 30 days, as required. See the privacy policy. |
| A security issue you have found | evankorial7@gmail.com | Put SECURITY in the subject. We will acknowledge within one business day and will not threaten you for telling us. |
3. The response promise, and its limits
One business day, Monday to Friday, Central Time. That is a promise we can keep on a bad week, which is the only kind of promise worth publishing. Plenty of software companies advertise 24/7 support and answer in three days; we would rather advertise the number we actually hit.
There is no phone line yet. When there is one it will be listed here, and it will ring a person. Until then, email is the honest channel and it is monitored.
4. What happens if something happens to us
This is the question people are too polite to ask a small vendor, so here is the answer without being asked.
- Your data never depends on us being here. EzyCrm keeps a complete working copy on your own device and runs offline from a single file. If our servers vanished this afternoon, the application in front of you would keep working.
- Export is always available, unprompted. Every record — contacts, companies, deals, activities, quotes, files, the audit trail — exports to CSV or JSON from inside the product, at any time, without asking us. There is no support ticket, no retention hold, and no export tier.
- Wind-down commitment. If we ever stop operating this service, you get at least 90 days' notice, and export stays available for the whole of that period.
- There is a second person. Domain, hosting and payment credentials are held by a named second individual with a written runbook, so an accident does not take the service down with it.
We do not carry source-code escrow, and we will tell you why rather than quietly omitting it: escrow is a 1990s answer to on-premise software. A copy of our source code would be of no practical use to you. A current export of your own data, on your own disk, is worth more — so that is what we built instead.
5. What we will not do
- Put you on a mailing list because you asked a question.
- Pass your email to anyone. Ever, for any reason. See the sub-processor list for every third party that touches anything.
- Answer a technical question with a sales call. If the answer is "no, it does not do that", you will get that in writing.
Written to be read. If any part of this is unclear, say so and we will rewrite it — that is a bug like any other.
